Armored Core Screenshot 2 by Pendragon9 Armored Core Screenshot 2 by Pendragon9
Well, before I begin breaking out my MS paint abortions, I thought I'd bring out one last beauty of mecha design. I created this one among my batch of original designs, and she's one of my favorites.

"Project V" short for "Vanguard". The reason it looks absolutely anorexic is because of the speed I had wished to attain. It can actually get up to 2000 kmph without VOB boosters. Though the schematics have changed a bit partwise, the frame remains. The silverish chrome paintjob was also something I liked to see.

Armored Core: For Answer (c) FROM

The AC above is a Pendragon original (yeah. I've always wanted to say that)

While the excellent quality of the schematics can all be attributed to TMRaven from the Armored Core online forums. If you see him, remember his magic camera was what gave life to the high quality of this image.

I suggest changing the missiles to mp 203s; poplars are the easiest things to dodge, unless youre fat and slow, and in that case you could probably shrug off the damage.
The lazer cannon does nothing to aid the build. Its energy based, meaning it doesnt care about PA, and the rest of your build depends on breaking it. Switch it to a sapla or kamal to maximize damage.
The inblue FCS has effectively no missile lock speed. Change it to Judith or LAhire. They both lock on relatively fast (once you hit 400 lock speed, you lock on nearly instantaneously) And dont spend FCS on missile lock speed. The regular lock speed effects that stat, meaning that Hogire and Judith FCSs have the best in game.
Your two front weapons are not only weak, but also have registration issues, due to natural lag. I suggest an Marve and a Motocobra for the frame, as they not only register better, but due more overall damage despite slower fire rate.
The Lahire head looks nice, but it essentially does nothing better than Holofernes or Soluh. Holofernes is faster, and Soluh is more efficient.
The core is the same as the head; does nothing but add excessive drain. The PA bonus is nearly negligiable. Latona and Soluh are both more efficient, and give you similar results.
The main booster is an interesting choice, and can function under the right circumstances, but Aliya and Virtue outclass it in two different ways. Aliya allows significantly more vertical flight, which essentially makes you more energy efficient and more manueverable. Virtue is just really fast, and could outpace lahire, even if lahire had add-boosters.
The side booster is alright, but once again, not the right place. Holofernes moves to the side further than your main booster goes forward, and its traditionally used defensively. If you want reliable, yet powerful side movement, try ortega, but if your focus is on going forward, use judith, schedar, or hogire sides. They are all very efficient, and their low cost will allow you to focus more on forward movement.
ECM shoulders are near pointless in a fight with a skilled veteran. Throw on shoulder spreads to force them into your path of bullets. You could try other types of missiles, but not AS, those suck. All the other shoulder weapons are also pointless on a build of this speed.
I would also suggest LAhire legs; Sobrero gets torn up by the slightest ammounts of fire, and the speed doesnt help. Lahire goes nearly as fast, and has some defense. Sobrero legs are almost built exclusively for runing away, its too light to make precision movements up close. Thats what Lahire and Soluh are for.
Drop the pocket blade. They are redundant with PA bombs, and in most gun rooms youll be kicked for them, and there are no hybrid rooms these days. The pocket blade also drains your energy more than it's worth.
My advice is absolute, if you want a decent design, follow these points. If you want something that looks pretty, you already have it.

It's a heavy-weight!
...Because SOBRERO and LAHIRE are completely heavy types..

This mech looks nice, but I got a question, how do you get the schematic of the mech to look like a image you can save to your computer?

I had a friend take a real high quality picture of it with his camera, then had him send it to me via email.

He does wonders with the camera.

Ah, I see. Thanks.

Now that Next looks light and fast. How are the Attack specs?

I haven't used this model in a while, but it's main tactics involve whittling down the opponent's AP. As small as they look, the missiles actually do pretty heavy damage when combined, and the extensions make it harder to lock onto me.

Overall a spammer who takes pot shots and then retreats.
